DECORATION METHODS

Screen Printing

Screen printing requires your artwork to be separated into its individual colours, and a screen to be made for each colour that appears in a design, which are then set up on our automatic press ready for printing. Ink colours are Pantone® matched to your artwork for absolute accuracy.

This setup takes time, but then the printing goes very quickly. This makes screen printing best for larger quantity orders of t-shirts, hoodies and tote bags.

We only print with water-based inks. They are better for the environment and have a softer feel to the finished print. We can also print speciality inks, such as discharge, metallics, glow in the dark and puff ink.

Why Water Based Ink?

Digital Printing

Our digital printing system has no limit to the amount of colours in your artwork. Pricing is calculated by the size of the print. There are no setup costs for digital print, so it is great for small quantity orders. It's also great if you need a sample of a product idea.

Digital print technology has advanced very quickly recently. Prints are bold, sharp and durable. Traditionally it was difficult to have a digital print fade nicely on the garment, but we have developed techniques from our screenprint artworking to make this possible using halftones.

Embroidery

Embroidery adds a touch of class to a product. There is minimal setup costs to digitise the artwork, so it is suitable for small or large quantity orders. It works best with clean artwork, and the range of colours available is constantly expanding.

Our embroidery service is priced on the amount of stitches required, plus a small digitisation charge to get your artwork ready for embroidery. This method is best suited to heavier weight garments, and is great for caps, which are not suitable for screen printing due to the shape.

Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation transfer printing is a digital printing technology using full-colour artwork that works with polyester and polymer-coated substrates. Suitable for mobile phone covers, tins, coffee mugs, mouse mats, DJ slipmats and other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces.

The images are first printed onto coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a mirror-image of the final design, which is then transferred from the transfer sheet onto the substrate using a heat press.

We've added mugs to our online store. If there's another product you would like to sublimate, please get in touch...
